UPEI Tennis Team had a great season in 2018/2019 with 2 second place finishes in regular season play taking out St. Mary’s , UNB and both of Dalhousie’s teams before falling to Memorial in the final of both 1st two events over this past weekend. UPEI dominated St. Francis Xavier winning all of their matches before falling in close matches to Dalhousie in the semi final. In the 3-4 playoff UPEI was down 3-2 in matches before they were forced to stop because of the need for courts to finish the championship round. Annika Wiebe of Stratford PEI took home the league Freshman of the Year award.
